About Us

Our Products

Our spice blends are the culmination of years of developing a product that we love, and subsequently all of our friends we cook for too.  Our intent throughout the creative process was to create high quality rubs using the finest ingredients the world has to offer.  This is why our products may cost a little more than some of our competitors.  We do not incorporate additives, preservatives or any anti-caking agents.  We utilize Gourmet Sea Salt in our products and they have about 1/3 the amount of salt (except Sichuan Sesame Sprinkle) that you typically find in comparable products.  If your rub clumps or cakes over time, simply stir it up with a clean utensil or give it a couple of raps against the counter.  This usually loosens it up.

Our Story

Rub It In was created out of several years of growing exotic hot peppers from various parts of our planet.  I have always been intrigued with hot peppers growing the general varieties you find at stores such as cayenne, jalapeno and the like.  After making a trip to Jamaica in 2005 and tasting the unique flavor of the Scotch Bonnet, this created a strong desire to learn more about this strain of pepper (Capsicum Chinense) and more importantly grow them.  Over time this evolved into learning about and growing the many different varieties of hot peppers from around the world, their unique flavors and the dishes they are used in.  

Our Mission

To provide great tasting spice products that are free from additives and preservatives as well as having a lower sodium level.
